Oh yeah? We are going there? Every time the operation blows a circuit, I think of this Nietzsche quote:

"The total character of the world, however, is in all eternity chaos..."

A pilot with 15 years on property (the company is only 19 years old) can be a junior line-holder captain in LGB/LAX.

I'll see your Nietzsche and raise you Yogi Berra:

"If the world were perfect, it wouldn’t be."

Yep, but there are a lot of senior FO’s in LGB. I’m here 9 yrs and would be 35% on the FO list there.

Do the "Harvard people" do the same job and have the same responsibilities and bring the same value to their employer as you do?

The analogy worked until your post tried to stretch it. We aren't comparing a Fortune 500 CFO vs. an accountant. We are comparing full service narrow body pilots in the US vs. full service narrow body pilots in the US.

Happiness does indeed come from within. And pointing out that you're being taken advantage of by greedy management and calling out colleagues who enable them ≠ unhappiness.

A college student is a college student, not a CFO. When I was a student at a state school, I didn't compare myself to students at Harvard. You are the one twisting the analogy buddy.

As far as the other, don't you realize that ALL corporations are greedy? You act as if JetBlue is the only corporation in America that would take as much as it could get away with. Welcome to Capitalism in the U S A buddy.

I guess our only recourse is to lie down and take it then. Beg and scrape is the name of the game.

I didn't say that. We have taken steps to improve. We have ALPA, we now have a CBA, etc. But my god you don't have to whine and moan about now downtrodden you are all the GD time.
