LAX? Quite a while considering we don't have a base in LAX, just LGB
320 as a new hire? I wouldn't count on it 100%, but if you're senior in your class, possible. A lot of current 190 drivers hitting their seat lock want the raise so that may kill it for you depending on what they want for the particular class.
Future of the company? Got a coin to flip?
Hiring? They said 400 I think but numbers for everything are pretty inflated here...including on time performance and and speak up survey participation.

Same pay rate, much shorter reserve, no redeyes, more money as a lineholder 190 guy than a reserve bus guy (usually), and only a 1 year equipment lock for newhires? I would do the same unless I was trying to get FLL or LGB. Or if I planned on bidding reserve anyway. Everyone’s situation is different tho.

I agree with all the above that QoL and money is better on the 190 year one. But movement on the bus is picking up, and is likely to continue for the next 6 months. Should only slow again if the next bid fills all 320 slots with pilots on property.

Hello guys!
I live in Los Angeles and I am stuck commuting across the continent for the sake of holding a line. I am thinking about applying to JetBlue but I need some info here.
How long does it take to hold LAX?
What are the chances of getting the 320 as a newhire?(I am typed and don’t feel like getting typed in the embraer if it’s going extinct pretty soon)
What do you Jetblue guys think about the future of the company (upgrade,growth,etc..)?
Last but not least. What are jetblue’s hiring plans for 2019 and when shall I get expect the window to open?
Your help is greatly appreciated

And if the West coast is a priority, forget about Blue and concentrate on the majors. Good luck to ya.
