They need a lot of 190s recently...the last system bid had a mass exodus of 190 to bus...I'm mid seniority in BOS and went up 28 spots. It's been 60/40..75/25, Bus/190 but they may need a few more 190s now that there's such a vacancy. Other than a few outliers, 190 is usually bottom of the NH class

I stole this info from multiple posters on this thread but it is good info. Some classes are funny and buses go junior but most go fairly mixed. I think they alluded to more 190 spots in the future.

Aug 26 - 12 to the 320 and 8 to the 190

Sept 23 - ??? only six people in that class

Oct 7th - 10 to the 320, 2 to the 190

Oct 21 - 16 to the 320, 9 to the 190

Nov 4 - 11 to the 320 (All JFK), 18 190 BOS or JFK.

Class size projections:
Ø 11/4/2015 29
Ø 12/2/2015 33
Ø 1/6/2016 12
Ø 1/20/2016 19
Ø 2/3/2016 14
Ø 2/17/2016 28
Ø 3/2/2016 12

Hopefully none. Can't understand why someone would fork out about $100K on a program that lasts 4 years and all their marbles in the proverbial JB basket when they could spend $60k on a 2 year program at All ATP and have possible jobs at a half-dozen regionals. If you spend the money at JB and don't get hired, you're screwed. At least with All ATP you have several shots at getting hired.

This program is completely unnecessary, but what would you expect from a United quota hire?

Very embarrassing.

Do any of the CBAs at the Legacy, Major, LCCs, Cargo, or ACMIs address sourcing pilot hiring pools from ab inito type programs?

Maybe they should?

Is there any historical precedence in recent history where a CBA/CBA(s) addressed ab-initio/PFT type programs?

Just wondering...how long would it take an FO to hold FLL?

Thanks in advance!

Dude, it's negotiation fodder. We're in negotiations, they trot this out and say what will you give up to kill this? Plain and simple.

I'm actually torn between that and it's just JB reinventing the wheel when they don't need to. They always try to be different. Wish they would learn to look around for best practices before just assuming the way it's done other places must need fixing.
