jetBlue Hiring

JetBlue likes to be different with terminology. To translate the process to normal airline speak, the video interview is the precursor to the real in person interview, all of which is part of phase one, and then moving to phase 2 is like getting a CJO…conditional upon all the background checks and the final stamp of approval by the pilot hiring committee. So if you’re in phase 2 you essentially have a CJO. If you’re in the interview process, you’re in phase 1.

Timeframe
Can anyone who interviewed recently tell me what the timeframe looked like....
How long between virtual interview and in-person interview and also, after your interview what were the class date options given?
Thanks

This has been answered a lot in this thread and very recent. Maybe turn the lazy meter down a bit and read.

Good news for new hires - they announced today if your training exceeds 45 days, you will be transitioned to full pay. Thank goodness, finally!!! There are still people from a December class in training.

Is that in an LOA? Or is this just disregarding the CBA again in an area where the company needs to stop the new hire bleeding? I’m all for it, but it needs to be done the right way (ie negotiated and agreed to by the union, and the union needs to get something in return that benefits the entire pilot group, not just new hires).
