Flying Elvis...
New to the forum, so I know I can't PM you. I'm currently at JB and just got the CJO from Delta, expected class in late July. I was mil before JB, just wondering if you could PM me on how the 2 weeks notice went and if there are any lessons learned.
Thanks

- Who your CP is
- What your relationship is like with your CP (if he knows you)
- What the last management meeting your CP attended was like
Regardless of ruffled feathers, there were no barriers thrown up and the exit process is pretty easy. I just got a verbal on what needed to be turned in, and was told I could just send in my ID and KCM card after my last day. Wipe your iPad and drop it off in the CPO on your last trip along with your leather jacket if you're <3 years. I think they want your new uniforms if you ordered/received them.
I got an email requesting an optional telephonic exit interview and giving a link to an electronic survey. I did the survey and when I called the person back to do the exit interview, she started reading the survey questions verbatim - I politely stopped her and asked if I could just get a copy of any paperwork they had regarding transferring 401ks, interim insurance, etc. Easy peasy.

jetBlue Hiring
All 10 guys that I know personally who left were all 1 year or less. I can see this being the case for a long time. With nothing committed to JetBlue why would someone stay with the retirement numbers at the legacies ? I enjoy my time here but I can't deny the retirements ... JetBlue had about 12 retirements compared to the thousands elsewhere ...

My 2-weeks' wasn't taken nearly so well. For the record, I think the reaction depends on a lot of variables including:
- Who your CP is
- What your relationship is like with your CP (if he knows you)
- What the last management meeting your CP attended was like
