Jetblue is weighing newhires differently than in the past. That said we do have a lot of excellent qualified resumes coming in. Those resumes are also out there with delta, aa, yonited, and SWA too.

Not saying we aren't hiring Good people. But these are the demographics per the vp/ director of training that they are worried about bailing out.

Good luckon the interview

I declined the interview, was already in indoc at a legacy. I'm not sure if I made the right choice, jetBlue offers a really good product and you will continue to expand. Lots of loyal customers. The last quarterly profit was higher than I expected and that was my main concern going there, but hindsight is 20/20.

IMO UAL and AA will lose market share to jetBlue and Sprit in the coming years, probably a decent amount. Personally, I wouldn't leave there except for DAL. However I can understand the allure and pull, and why many are leaving and why'd they want to hire experienced F/Os. But they are definitely calling people with my quals.

Default jetBlue Hiring

All kinds are getting called , PiC , no PIC, jet time , no jet time . About 3000 TT is the lowest I have seen in the last year or so, but that was with some friends on the inside. Job fairs although not attended much by JetBlue tends I help quite a lot so it seems , I know overall it was how I landed it, many other things and people I knew , but not likely to have gotten a call without the job fair for my personal case.

Now no pic and no jet time are not the normal but plenty have gotten on with out it . So who ever is trying, ***** your self out and meet people who may have connections , esp job fairs .

From a chief or a someone on the interview team, yes. A line pilot not so much but better than nothing.

Would a rec from a former DoO carry enough weight to nudge a no TPIC over the line?
