I put "JetBlue People Department" (their code for HR). Anyone think this should be tweaked?
Anyone inputting any info to the "skills / certifications" portion of the app?
Really hoping to get a call this time around. 4,300TT 1,266PIC (no turbine) 3,000 jet SIC. 2 letters of rec from current JetBlue pilots. No failed checkrides, no DUI's, no skeletons, live local to a JetBlue domicile. Seems "secret handshake" is the secret to getting called. Fingers crossed!

I really don't know what your issue is. Whether someone thinks one airline is better than the other is obviously subjective. If some regional CA thinks he's better off staying at his regional then going the LCC route, than that's his choice and he's entitled to his opinion. It won't have any effect on jetBlue's negotiation as an ALPA carrier.

You would be surprised how that statement has a detrimental effect on how the bar and our expectations should be set amongst our group.
This is not a regional nor it should be compared to one, PERIOD!

My thoughts exactly. It has to make you wonder how they decide who interviews and gets hired.

I applied this round with 2500TT, 1600 PIC, only 150 TPIC though. Vets in Blue attendance last year, included contacts I made in Talent Acquisitions and LORs from pilots in JB. I know 2500 is low but has anyone made it in with around that number? I am currently flying on demand 135, so flight time recency is going to be lower than the 121 guys, although I did have about 1000 hours 121 with Colgan before it shut down.

Before anyone says that your time is low, I know several personally who were hired with 2000hrs + or - some, and selected to interview on their first time applying. Military time, but still, it is not unheard of at all. I'm in the same boat as you, relatively low time, also went to VIB, not a peep. This is my third time applying.
That, of course, increase the pool of applicant and competitive qualifications.
