Yep. My jaw hit the floor when I saw a guy in the class in front of me got JFK 320 CA. Not that I'm a) comfortable enough with the plane to bid left seat or b) willing to go back to commuting to reserve for the next eternity.

Yea! Gosh, haven't you heard of the caring and integrity values?

I mean, besides that after every one get to "sacrifice" to work here you'd just spend the extra money on toys....

Plus! After less than 3 years you can be the captain! 74% lol and the 320 went junior.

And! You get to stay in the lodge for free! **** delta makes you pay for a hotel. What a crap operation. ...and did you see that TA? Can't believe we had captains leave jetblue to go back to delta....

People realize reserve here is for the birds unless you live five minutes from the airport. That's why 74% for being a junior CA. If we got some decent long call or am/pm reserve shifts I think that number would come back down into the 60s

Our RSV definitely has its issues and needs improvements. But you can attempt to play the game. I live 1h50m from base, move my days to work when coverage is the highest (which I've been able to do even being incredibly junior by setting flica alerts and swapping through the windows) and I'm at a bit over 50 hours... THIS YEAR.
As I said, we need improvements, but you can work it.

Insurance for a family is 158 per check plus vision and dental which is prob another 40 per check total. Not exactly 600....

I think the blue plan is a bit more. Maybe 198 per check.
