They probably just haven't gotten through all of the emails from the past weekend. Just keep checking your email about 2,000 times a day. I still am.

Pretty sure VDA pays 190%, though. Hence the reason guys sign up for it left and right around here in MCO. Just know what's out there if you're on RSV. I know some guys that have gotten tagged with 4 day trips and only got the extra $$$ for one leg on day one because they started a 4-5 day block of reserve the next day....

Moving PRL days are pretty useless since you can only move them to a day you already have OFF. So, if you're looking to swap a reserve day or something INTO a day you have been assigned PRL, then I could see doing that. I've done that ONCE when they randomly assigned me a PRL day, I needed a different day off, so I moved the PRL day to another day I had off and swapped the RSV day I had onto where the PRL was. Everything else was either going to give me 6 days RSV stretches with one day off (they won't let us do that anymore for lazy reasons) or wasn't going to work for some other reason. That's the only time I could even think of moving a PRL day.

I've been getting a rash of "How quickly can you get to the airport?" calls. I'm okay with helping out once in a while, but it's getting to the point they're expecting us to race to the airport to save the operation. Assuming I'm not doing anything, it's gonna take me a minimum of 90 minutes to get from my house to the parking lot. I planned where I lived based on a 2 hour call out, and I don't sit around in uniform staring at my phone. Also, they DHs on the back of trips are getting insane. Saw one in open time last week that was a 19:00 show time, MCO-SLC, DH SLC-MCO and back at 6 something AM. Thought I was going to get it and they'd just delay the flight since I didn't go on call until 1900. They gave it to the 1300 reserve. Damn. Yeah, it's legal because it's a tail end DH, but....damn. I think I'd be landing in SLC and asking for a hotel room.....

Never been at a company that didn't ask for favors. You're on reserve, what do you think happens during a irop, sick calls, etc.? Trips move, cancel and stuff pops up, it's an airline. With that said, you don't have to give favors, you need two hours... Done. Let's not get dramatic, this is typical reserve stuff. Want to sit ready reserve?!? That'll solve their problems, how about yours? Didn't think so! Don't give into their poor excuses nor ***** about your two hour call out.

Blue is not perfect, nor Delta, American or United....

Applied during this last window and went to OBAP a few days later. Live somewhat within a driving distance to JFK. Seemed to have established a pretty good rapport with the recruiters at OBAP. Crickets...
Maybe they caught me talking to Delta, SWA, UA and AA???

Wow... I'm pretty sure that kellwolf has been accused of being a juicer before and even if he was you win. Reserve sucks here. It's great for people who live in base but being escalated and having to sit for days on end in a crash pad and not fly sucks too.

Line holding increased QOL by a lot. I suppose you don't think we should spend any negotiating capital on making reserve better than a flowchart in the FSM?

I think you misinterpreted what I said. I'll sum it up in layman terms; stop complaining that they ask for favors and simply say "NO, I need two hours." Not sure where blue juicer comes into play with that so I'll pretend you didn't say it.

Now as for your comment about reserve work rules, yes they need to be changed, simple.
