Of course I agree that Congress is more responsible than any POTUS, POTUS doesn't write any legislation...

But my point was more in response to a Bluepilots, Newsmax, talk radio phenomenon that was showing it's head on APC. I acknowledge that the last stimulus had many on both sides angry about pork, BUT, other than that you largely had 4 years of debt being piled on with hardly a word from the right, when their guy was at the top. Same during the last Bush administration.

But, when O was president it was a "debt emergency" all-day everyday. Even though R's controlled the House (the purse strings) for 6 of O's 8 years.

Now that B is president, we will once again be hearing about the "debt emergency" all-day everyday.

We can agree or disagree on other things political, but not on my comments above.

Anyway, back to the usual APC programming.

I agree completely on your political analysis, both sides are utter hypocrites, I am right down the middle and hate each party equally... but perhaps I missed it, all I see on this thread in relation to this “govt cheddar” (I’m not on bluepilots) are some mutterings putting 1.9 trillion in some relatable terms. This SHOULD be a concern to any taxpayer, just as in previous times regardless of anyone’s political leanings or who is in charge. Our govt has always been frustratingly poor stewards of our money. If you think this is a newsmax, talk radio point of view you are bringing your own biases to our coworkers’ comments here, you my friend are better than that! As you say now back to the usual APC programming! Let’s go back to *****ing about LOA 13 🤪

Right? We'll be sooo lucky if management will just reengage in negotiations, I want 3 bags of peanuts to sell FC scope.

Might have to sell more scope to get all that. I'm in, have to give up more flying to get more flying I always say. Heard it from a United pilot. He said his furlough only lasted 5 years, his second furlough.

“We’ve been hiring pilots every year since I got here in 2019. So our management team knows what they’re doing. I don’t see why we need Scope protections. But I could use a 2% raise!”

Who actually said this? I don’t know anyone hired after 2018 who thinks this way.
