JetBlue Is Turning Supermarket Clerks and Baggage Handlers Into Pilots - Bloomberg

"The initial six recruits begin the second phase of training Monday, after three weeks studying meteorology, aerodynamics, aircraft systems and the like. They’ll now spend about seven months in Arizona to begin flight training"

Glad they had their three weeks of weather training before shipping off to ... Arizona.

Same answer I got from FAs who found out initial was only 2 weeks longer than their training....just think....2 more weeks and they could have been pilots too!

Just some new rumors from various sources that'll probably turn out to be BS, but ***, lets speculate.

Yep. Why reinvent the wheel? I am sure the costs have been figured and they could consult with SWA execs to get their thoughts ...

Use the SWA TA with Delta pay rates (we will never get them but at least try)....

I guess I am just getting impatient. I trust our NC is doing the best they can.
