Quick question. I have a line and only have 1 day off in between trips. Is that allowed? Also the lines never came out in the crew planning website.

Yup.

I saw a few guys getting lines working 8-11 days in a row over Xmas. You can thank 117 and our crappy pairings for that! Enjoy!

When we get out TA it will speak volumes one way or another.

Fly safe, fly SOP.
49% voter turnout in JFK LEC 191 elections. What a joke!

You still think we have a unified pilot group?

No doubt... I've never understood this. We are professionals and shouldn't be staying at budget- or low-tier hotels regardless of whether they have a $hitty free breakfast. That's what per diem is for. Have some self-respect, guys.

CBA needs solid hotel language. No crappy chains and no airport hotels for stays over 14 hours.

Not a joke.

Local elections I think everywhere are never going to see voter turnout like you'd see for a Union vote or a contract TA.

I voted, but only read what I could from the emails the candidates sent out. And even then I felt like I had little feel for them. Of all CA/FO's running I've only met 1 personally.

So.. although I voted I had 0 passion for one candidate over another.

The latest MEC blast mail sounded interesting regarding negotiations. Sounds like progress to me. Major items getting hammered out.

Like I said....If you don't like the Line, don't bid it. 80% of the overnights are in the El Segundo Aloft anyways. Go there, get your Subway footlong and retire for the night.
The Aloft rocks. It's LA, there isn't going to be anything within walking distance. Within a 5 minute walk, In n out (best hamburgers ever), Rubios, El Pollo Loco, and tons of other options. You won't find a better location unless you want to fight 30+ minutes of traffic.

some people love a long drive both ways and being in koreatown, apparently.

Got week of Thanksgiving off and with no kids in the house I tapped in for Christmas. West coast. If you gotta work might as well get double time on 6hrs 12 minutes.
