actually hope we do. That'd be a good move for us right now. IMO

I agree. they have the airplane orders and the Midwest infrastructure, but if the rumors are true, we put in several bids and they all got rejected. Indigo must have some absurd number in mind they think they are worth.

Yeah, we missed the boat when Republic was selling them, they were a very similar product to ours. Now, not so much, just another Spirit with Spirit class customers!

Far more money in an IPO I would imagine. Then they can let JB drive the price even higher after that.

Personally I hope it never happens but if it must I hope it happens AFTER our CBA is signed.

Default Future contract musings

Copied some parts from Allegiants new contract...., assuming we at least get another 10-15% rate increase (on top of the 8) any predictions on how our new contract will compare? Bets on PTO sellback going away?

Monthly guarantee: 70 hours Reserve guarantee: 72 hours

Voluntary Flying Notification trip pick up compensated at 200%

All hours flown over 81 compensated at 130%

Open time pick up paid above monthly min guarantee

Deadhead pay 50%

Extra day off provided if delay extends past 0200 on a day off. Overnight pays a minimum of 4 hours

Training pay = 4 hours per day

Are you sure that's not from a regionals contract? Ours better be way ahead in these areas and overall or the flood gates will open. I could live in base at Allegiant, might as well go there if they expect us to accept garbage...

Way ahead in all aspects of course is our goal. Just trying to get some insights for where there might be some attempts to take back (DH pay?) in order for the company to give based on how JB operates.

So how far ahead of 130% over 81hrs are you thinking?

ALPA is in charge of that, negotiating on APC won't help us.

I would have my apps updated the next day if this was even close to our new CBA. 50% DH? 72 RSV? I'm not even sure a 15% raise would put us in the game anymore.

Depends on how many people are normally selling it back. That's a number I'm sure both the company and union know.

I doubt the union will strive to keep it if only 30% sellback. They won't expend the negotiating capital on something that won't be a selling point to the majority.

Just a hunch....it goes away.
