Actually, I didn't say anything about *Council* 191. The MEC chairman needs to go. And I was responding to SaintNick's post where he suggests the MEC is one person when it is in fact a group of people.

For people so outraged about their union many of you are completely ignorant to how it even works. On that note, JBPA is a total non-starter unless you want the company to have even more ability to manipulate the union. The goal should be to replace the voting members of the MEC with those who will vote out the current leadership.

What am I missing?

Email for RSA comes out stating we will be issuing RSA's shortly. Then I go in an look at my seat and equipment.. No RSA. Then I look at all the other seats and bases and do not see them issued.

Whats the deal? I have seen a few RSA's, but seems more often then not they never show up or are they never issuing them? Are people that quick to actually pick them up?

For the type of banter posted here? No. If I posted an accusatory screed such as the one released by "SH", well, I wouldn't make those accusations on an anonymous forum. And I wouldn't make them at all if I couldn't do it publicly. I think a lot of bourbon went into that spin job and it was followed with even more regret.

30% in boston voted, Probably a step up from previous votes. However, there still 70% that apparently don't care who is running the show. I would have thought that after the recent JFK issues that more people would have voted.

I noticed this a while ago. It’s usually FO seats I’ve figured out. Annoying that they can’t push an Email that says which seat/aircraft.

but one screen name saying another screen name’s story isn’t valid because they are using a screen name is slightly entertaining. Not to mention especially the last few years “anonymous sources” are taken as gospel truth in the world of politics anyway.

Is it though? The diatribe was highly inflammatory and specifically accused real human beings of misconduct. It is not the same thing as the ethereal "some people", "many people" or "many, many people" who say many many things to support, well, BS. And neither of those is the same as an anonymous source that presents information that can be separately verified by other isolated means. That process lends itself to credibility. Anonymous ranting screeds do not. That can be easily remedied however.
