1F2: For a “new partner”: 3% growth from the base year the codeshare was established. Once we are at that 3% threshold (theoretically in the first year from base-comparison year for it to be authorized in the first place), it’s 1% per year block hour growth required. That’s not that much.
1F3: To renew or amend an existing codeshare: 1 block hour and 1 pilot have to be added in the previous 12 months.
And as for the comment about them having pax on us as well...that’s fine, but I’d rather have their pax on us without a codeshare by us growing organically into their market.

Codeshare agreements are not one year at a time. They are long term agreements.
So, this year, which is a multi-year low growth rate for BJ of about 6%, they sign a 7 year extensive codeshare agreement with Alaska.
Next year the board decides margin expansion is the airlines priority and they no longer need to grow out West, because we are selling tickets to connect onto Alaska's West coast network. So they defer half our aircraft deliveries for the next 5 years and cut our ASM or block hour growth to 2.5%.
What happens to the 7 year extensive Alaska codeshare agreement? Nothing.
It doesn't need to be renewed, amended or entered into.
Same goes for Moxy and Hawaiian and JetSuiteX and and and.

Did you read that section? Because you are quoting it wrong. First it’s not 3% asm growth you are referring to. It’s block hours. ASMs are used to establish the relative size of the partner company in that section. ASMs are also referenced in 1F3 regarding amendments to existing codeshares. Second, it’s 1% per year block hour growth required after the first year...the 3% is only required for the establishment of a new code share.

No codeshares for any route we can fly with our existing equipment. Limitations/time limits/ends to codeshares on routes for which we gain aircraft capable of flying those routes.

Yeah absolutely. If SWA can operate with no codeshares, why can’t we? No reason we need to codeshare domestically, or on any routes we are capable of flying ourselves for that matter. Do we codeshare with Alaska or anyone else domestically now besides cape? Why would we allow it to start? Here’s a good article with the SWA codeshare perspective. Intl or other routes we can’t fly (HNL) is one thing. Routes we can do now? No reason to allow it.

Are you feeling more secure after you block people who disagree with your discount/low-rent/defeated/apologist mentality?

Bozo doesn't care what you say of substance. He is simply a pacification agent to add noise for others to read. He wants status quo or less and to make others think like him. If he can't win you over with his false ideas, he will simply ignore you. If we accept a sub-standard contract, he wins.
