Default 2019 pay rates

Hi guys,

Quick favor:

Are these rates (currently posted on APC ) what you guys will be getting through most of 2019?

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets...it?usp=sharing

In other words what is your DOS+ data that I may be missing here?

I'm trying to update this sheet for evaluating our TA at Frontier.

Thank you!

IMHO we are not understaffed there more than any other Base. Plus the North Runway will be closed for almost half of the year and scheduled flights are planned to be cut by about 20-25%.

Maybe trying to save money with less transfers, since it’s not a 190 Base?
My guess is the additional "Red Line of Death" flying in JFK (although BOS saw aome of that as well). Either that or the bean counters think we have too many hotel stays in FLL. Whatever it is it isn't substantial growth. Or a plan.

They are in a training jam due to E190 pilots bailing for the Airbus. They can't have large Airbus vacancies because it only increases the airlines training backlog because it's more E190 pilots taking those Airbus slots only to have to be replaced by newly trained E190 pilots....

Don't be surprised if JB pulls the deferral lever again to further slow Airbus deliveries. It's the lever in LSC with the big flashing lights and a big red bow on it. That's how they find it so often.

The Contract is the biggest driver of this movement. ALV movement and the fact that it must equal all seats across the bases........You can't shove flying into another base anymore...

Disagree. The contract may have required the FLL openings due to levelling the ALV, but then they decreased JFK 320 CA by half of the FLL gain. So they just moved half the CAs to FLL for the ALV levelling and the few remaining openings are probably to staff deliveries.

Not shocked that you would disagree but the ALV is in the contract?.....

We didn’t have that many deliveries for 2018...think there’s a couple CEOs remaining to be delivered (planned for 2018 so presumably this month?). Next year planned deliveries are only 13 NEOs (starting in April I believe?), and with the way the Pratts are going right now I’d be surprised if we took all 13. But with 350 planned hires next year, and 13 deliveries (at ~15 pilots per plane), that leaves about 150 (minus attrition) more pilots than deliveries necessitates. With the remainder of the contract being implemented next year, and the new vacation, I wouldn’t dismiss them trying to get a little fatter on staffing, at least until they can figure out how efficient they can make the operation with the new equilibrium of the new pairings/new vacation/premium open time/other factors. They’ll also need to get a little fatter for all the training events, the addition of the 220 cadre, etc. This is about what I expected, and I expect maybe a couple more supp bids or potentially larger system bids moving forward as they figure out the training constraints (e190 specifically). I don’t think we have the ability to hire much more until that is figured out.
