Ah men brother! For some reason they are the only employee group that needs help doing their job.
Next time your going to an overnight with a RON aircraft ask them why they don’t stay and clean the plane. When they say because it’s not their job, ask them why then they expect everyone else to help them do theirs.

It’s interesting…corporate leadership seems to genuinely believe – or at least it’s what they write – that the team cleaning thing actually builds unity. When, in my experience, the complete polar opposite is true.

Their expectation comes from company leadership. They’re taught in training pass riders should help & then it’s reinforced from time to time…most recently the emails. It’s this that creates the resentment, division, etc.

If they actually came out and said look this helps (you would need real) profit sharing and helps our (you would need real) growth they might be able to do it but as you said now it creates and us vs them, helpers and no helpers and that’s not good.
But since they can’t admit to being wrong they double down.

Theories/Rumors regarding the disproportional amount of vacancies posted for FLL in the system bid?
IMHO we are not understaffed there more than any other Base. Plus the North Runway will be closed for almost half of the year and scheduled flights are planned to be cut by about 20-25%.
Maybe trying to save money with less transfers, since it’s not a 190 Base?
