As far as I know, nobody yet. I'm an instructor at OSC and I was 4 away from E190 upgrade last system bid, so if it goes even a little more junior, they'd ask me if I plan on staying in the school house or go back to the line. And they haven't asked me yet. I'd guess it'd be Monday or Tuesday at the earliest before we hear anything.

I can't imagine with the continuous upgrades and aircraft orders it would go backwards from the last system bid. The last time it went backwards was when we had a system bid without any upgrades. But I've been wrong before and I'll be wrong again.

Seems a lot of the A320 schedules in Jan have the typical late west coast, then a red eye with 11-12 hours rest, then cycle to a "normal" circadian day flight schedule for the last day and a return too late to commute. Anybody else noticing an uptick in these?

What are people doing to manage these? I found forcing myself up to get to breakfast (4-5 hours sleep) gets me needing a good nap that evening before the redeye. But still...
