Seems a little slow so far to start the year off, hope it picks up. Job fairs are a scam, I really hope people boycott them completely. Then the legacies will be forced to do more open houses.

I think Im actually measured, but skeptical. No way to tell whats really going on. I do believe that those of us who are young and junior enough to leave are more apt to see a reason to leave while older, more senior types will wear rose-colored glasses. Is that what you meant by "we see what we want to see" ?

Itll come down to attrition- If guys stay with the status quo, B6 has no reason to markedly improve any condition. Im hopeful only if FOs start to bail in droves.

A one paragraph update from the Negotiating Committee will never provide much detail thereby leaving a lot open to interpretation. If you want more detail, contact your LEC reps or even the NC. We pay dues for a reason and they all volunteer for a reason. Get involved, ask questions, and get your money's worth.
I think the P2P Committee is still looking for volunteers. I highly recommend volunteering. You'll help make a difference, get the information you're seeking straight from the source and have the opportunity to ask questions.

I've been here ten years, live in base, hold 320 Captain, would have to commute to any legacy, and my apps are out. Talk to some of our Tech Ops guys if you want to really be concerned about the future of this place🙁

Right now my biggest decision is whether to bail now or wait to bail after seeing if the TA falls short. From talking to other FOs, I think there are a significant number of us in the same position. If the TA takes too long, there won't be any reason to wait as we're giving up 700-1000 seniority numbers and tens of thousands of dollars per year at the legacies. #keepsgettingbetter

It seems some people here paint anyone who b!tches as a pessimistic malcontent who should just move along to another airline, when in reality they really want to be here but just aren't naive or willing to settle for less than they ought to be compensated. The whole "if you don't like it, leave" thing really does a disservice to the pilot group by tilting the balance toward the juicers IMHO. But at some point it will be time to cut bait and leave you with the blue glovers...
