Big announcement on the 15th (not exactly sure of which month/year).

Delta, AA and United fly lots of flights from NY to the Midwest. Spirit, Frontier, SWA and AA fly lots of flights from MIA/FLL/MCO to the Midwest.

And, don't understand what a C series can do for us to the Midwest that an E190, E2 or A320 can't? I am in favor of a C series order though. Without the Boeing corruption tax however.

Well this is expected but not good for profit sharing or negotiations.

$100m in lost revenue isn't that bad. There will still be plenty of profit. The market reacted positively to this news.

Still profitable and should be entirely irrelevant to negotiations. This will have a time limited affect on corporate profit and our margins post 3rd Quarter will still be near top of industry.

Besides, we don't make the decision to concentrate 98% of our network in the Caribbean. We are Airbus part# 1 and 2. They have to pay market-rate for all their other parts and services.

It's lost revenue... not a LOSS.

JB will still make profit this year and in the third and fourth quarters. It will still be substantial. This is not a reason to accept anything less than a market rate contract.

Insurance will cover a good portion of this revenue. I forget the exact number I was told but, it's upwards of 30million.
