If the T Mobile/ Sprint merger gets green lighted this Summer, I would imagine someone would at least test the DOJ waters with us.

It’s possible to have an awesome life and have self-respect at the same time. I really hope you discover a path to that future for yourself.

Why would a cell phone company merge have anything to do with jetBlue?

VX/AS merger happened. It is known that airlines can merge.

It takes the wireless industry from 5 to 3 carriers controlling 99% of the industry.

Imagine 3 airlines controlling 99% of the industry and what that would mean for us.

The size of the proposed merger. T mobile and sprint are yuge companies. And control a ton of the market. As/vx are barely noticeable on the US market. But a united/delta/American merger with us would be like sprint getting t mobile.

In all reality how likely is a merger? AS is tied up with the VX merger.

The consensus is United makes the most sense to buy JB. Correct? That would give them heavy presence in NY and BOS, giving Delta something to worry about.

I don’t see a merger happening but if delta and American push too far ahead of united. I could see it happen of course.

Or if Delta feels we are competing too strongly. Imagine that.

I'm well aware, since I have plenty of self respect. Been there, done that, got the T-shirt, and still loving life!

They keep trying to get me to drive to a blue city more than 3 hours away in the middle of the night. 12:34am the other night.
