Interesting prediction. Curious as to why you're so certain.

As far as national business goes, this is really a tempest in a teapot.

All it takes is one senator to filibuster and make the threshold much higher. Is Bernie gonna be a bro?

An 81 year old Senator opposing an age increase for pilots to 67? That would be extremely hypocritical.

LOL!
Given the large amount of pork in the FAA reauthorization bill, one might consider the Powerball odds to be better than a filibuster. But sure, in the words of Judy Tenuta, it could happen.

The 81 year old senator isn't using hand-eye skills or needing to make split second life or death decisions. In fact, most of them have an Army of aides who do the vast majority of work. Now, if the CA just sat in the JS and had 3 FOs operate the aircraft, you may have an argument.

You must wear your headset over your (50 mission crush) hat while chomping on an unlit cigar every time you fly...
What was your last split second life or death decision? Decaf or full strength?

Oh. So you're saying being an airline pilot is exactly the same as sitting in an office.

No, but I'm not the one who claims to make split second life or death decisions. Choose decaf next time.
