Midwest Airlines to ground 717s in November

Good point. What most people don't realize is that there would not be the brand had it not been for the people who created that brand and won award after award. Something the "new Midwest employees, a.k.a. as Republic, will never ever achieve. They are nothing but cheap replacements who are willing to undercut those that paved the way for them. I for one will never let my family fly on any Republic flight. NOt only do I detest them, I question some of their standards.
Fly safe.

You are upset. I understand that. What has taken place at Midwest is tragic. But direct your vitriol at the appropriate target. It is NOT the RAH pilot group. Republic had nothing to do with the demise of Midwest. As a former CHQ'er, I take offense at your insinuation that their standards are not safe.
Fly safe.

I’ve brought this up via email, with a member of the EXCO in August. His response was that there would be no movement on any integration issues, until after the F9 deal was complete. I would hope we would see some deal before November, when the last YX guys would start hitting the street. I’m OCONUS right now,so I don’t have any firsthand knowledge on this issue. Just my opinion!

I'll be honest with you. I'd probably show up. Every single leg would be block or better. I would 3 engine taxi everywhere, write anything and everything up, and take my time doing everything. I would not call operations for a push crew or marshallers. I would be a lazy pilot that would cost the company as much as possible. I would use ALL of my sick time just out of spite. That's just me though. That's obviously not you superstar. Enjoy your $37/hour. I'll enjoy my Midwest-like payscale until it's gone. Then I will do something else.

The logic of a Republic pilot responding to a Seneca freight pilot......
Can it be more insane?
You have to see the post by the outsourced/replacement pilot for Midwest. Go to regional forum- Republic First Officer E190 pay.
A Republic pilot responds to a Seneca Freight dog that he should be paid more than a Republic E190 First Officer because he makes more decisions.
Republic pilots are willing to undermine their own pilot group! No wonder the FOs top out at $37/hr.
BB has you guys brain washed or he hired wisely.

Honestly does all this really matter? It's happened and it will continue to happen as long as a 1 dollar product is sold for 5 cents. Airlines will continue stumble over each other down the bottom feeding hole. Pilots are just caught in the crossfire.
