You got internals that made the 1st class as well..If they never got a emp number with NW then it goes as section 20 dictates.. Internals (current DL emp transfering to the line) then SS for everyone else.

Can you explain to me what it says and how it works then?

They do have numbers and were furloughed mid way through sims in the 320.

Looks like the 1st class will have 30 bodies in the chairs with 8 or 9 not being present (compass/mesaba) flow ups being held till they can be replaced..Hopefully they can get on campus quick. As for the tube have a great time and dink a cold one for everyone ;-)

Actually there are 29 (20 CPZ and 9 XJ) being withheld until 11/8 class. This class was for 59 with 2 being furloughs.

When we had access to the SLI they were on the list. CPZ had a total of 4 flow downs from NWA with 1 that was fired.

Diferent beast. If they already have numbers and were furloughed then they should have went thru the FBR class. Maybe this is a one off where they will have a side class with them. But for fresh off the street it goes a little something like this.

Section 20 states...

Seniority numbers will be assigned to individuals on the first day of their new-hire
training in the following order:
Company transferees will be assigned the lowest seniority numbers within the class,
in order of their most recent date of employment with the Company, then
New-hires will be assigned seniority numbers on the basis of the last four digits of
each individual’s social security number. Individuals with the higher numbers will be
assigned the lowest seniority numbers.
Note: New-hires with identical last four digits of their social security numbers and with identical employment dates, will determine their relative placement by
drawing numbers.
Had to type this all out...Where is the copy cut and past when you need it...Also this was repoduced for Sierra Whiskey as quickly as possible

Thanks Turbo that was pretty quick!!!! I really could not tell you why they are in the New Hire class. I do remember that when the classes were forming there was no 8/9 class. I can only imagine the class existing was because more pilots took the recall.

Turbo,

Are you in the 8/2 class? If so, is Roger C. in there with you?

Thx
I imagine if they do plan on hirring more, or hirring next year, the first indication we will likely get will be on the Fall system Bid/AE. This wave was close on the heels of the Spring bid, and prior to the bid awards. Projections/Prognostications for the Bid comming out are September-October time frame (more likely early september is the rumblings I've heard, but I don't keep my ear to the ground as much as some others.) If that one yields nothing, there's likely a winter bid that will provide another chance.
