Could you be more specific? In what way are they not complying with their outline?

Well, they haven't been able to produce a 150% payraise for all while only working 5 days/month. That is what some of these people seem to be focused on..

What? YOU gave me the issue that is driving you away!

Here's what you wrote:

I asked you a question. Would you be ok with DPA paying McCormick the same $800,000 a year that PFAA and AMFA paid him?

If so, please help me ask DPA about the exact same problems you have with ALPA. Who's doing what? How much are they being paid? Are they hiring anybody with a conflict of interest?

Thanks in advance!

Wait it's only a 50% raise.....

T like you I don't necessarily fully support the DPA (I do support the concept of our own in house union) but I am in complete non-support of ALPA.

Is that a battle star, or an asterisk?

I'm not really in that camp either.. necessarily. I am just tired of their arrogance. Some people seem to poo poo that prater made $400K last year by deflecting that issue. So... alpa better clean up their act. They have zero competition. That might be changing... and competition is a great thing, especially where a monopoly exists.. escept of course if you are heavily invested in said monopoly..

Well, a few months ago it was rumored that they had 3200 cards. I take that to be over 20% of total cards. I am hearing they want to have a vote in February. That would be well over 50% of cards. Somewhere in the middle they were to show their financing on line and their constitution. As far as I can tell none of that had been published on their site.

If they have in fact done both of these and not made those areas public to all that want to have access that have not filled out their cards, then they are hiding data from Delta pilots, which is part of the same charges they are bringing to DALPA. That is where I see the disconnect.

Who seems to be focused on that? I haven't seen anyone advocating that we should get a 150% pay increase and only work 5 days/month. What I have seen is some folks (including me) advocating that we should get at least a 50% pay increase from our current rates over the life of our next contract. While that would not be full restoration by any stretch of the imagination... it would be a good step in the right direction.

As for your "working 5 days/month" comment... Personally, I have no problem being productive within reason and safety. Actually, I really enjoy my "work." I just think I/we should be compensated appropriately for it. What we have now is nowhere close to appropriate.

I see a lot of "it was rumored", "I am hearing", and "if" in what you are saying. You said that they are not complying with their "outline." I still don't see where you answered my question with any substantial facts. In what way, specifically, are they not complying with their "outline"?
