The BPA has been formed a steering committee of Delta pilots who think they can do everything better.

Q: So what is BPA?
A: BPA is bunch of pilots who are dissatisfied with how things are going and are convinced they can do everything better.
Q: Why do you think you can do things better?
A: Because we can’t do any worse!! No seriously, we recognize the angst everyone is experiencing following the loss of pay, pension, and personal dignity. We KNOW we can restore everything to previous levels (including cost of living adjustments) plus a 10% bonus.
Q: How can you make that claim?
A: Because we are the BEST pilot association.
Q: Do you have a Constitution and By-Laws?
A: Yes!
Q: Can we see it?
A: No!
Q: How do we know it is any good?
A: Because it was written by the steering committee made up of Delta pilots who think they can do everything better. Remember- we are the BEST pilot association so you can be sure everything we do will be the BEST.
Q: Will you join the Coalition of Airline Pilots to engage government on issues that affect the airline industry?
A: Are you kidding?? We don’t need no stinking government officials messing around in our business. They are all corrupt anyway. We will forge our own way independent of everyone and every other association. Everyone will soon see we are the BEST and give us everything we need. Remember we are BPA – the Best Pilot Association!

I just checked their website. Here's what I found on the "DPA timeline":
At 20% return of Cards – Draft constitution produced to web. Comments received.
At 30% return of Cards – Interim volunteer President/Vice President selected by the Communication Committee to serve until NMB election.
Question: Have they got 20% return of cards? If so, where's the constitution?
Question: Have they got 30% return of cards? If so, where's the Pres/Vice Pres?
I also checked for base reps. With 12,000 pilots to choose from, only 3 bases show as having a single rep. 3 out of 12,000 are willing to step up and be counted, and one of those doesn't even list his real name. Pretty impressive....
