How would you know I was talking about you if I am on your ignore list? You always post this after I mention you, but never after a post in which I don't mention you. Seems like you are undoing your ignore list to see what I write, and then putting me back on.

That's pretty darn funny.

Take it from me, he is not interested in facts. He is only interested in spewing garbage. A person interested in facts and constructive conversation actually takes the time to read and respond to factual and legitimate questions. Go ahead, ask him a legitimate question and see what happens. I'll give you a hint - nothing will happen, he will run and hide for a few days and then start a new VX bashing thread.

Yes, I know fishfreighter, I am on your ignore list, so after you read this and then put me back on ignore, please post the fact that I am on your ignore list and prove my point even more.

Good point NE.... I challenged him to a philosophical debate on his union lover stance and heard crickets. I questioned him about the fact Horizon got sold out for cheaper Skywest service, and I heard rationalizing on his part. Funny. Guess thats what happens when your old and set in the salty dog ways.
Back to relevant issues....
VX will be interviewing and growing even when this economy is still stagnant (presently). Will be a solid place to work at when the US picks up again and jobs/income return to American households. Cant wait for that day, as VX will surely be a powerplayer with low costs, and good business structure.
Kinda funny how I have NO desire to bash other airlines, yet some feel it to be a duty to be negative and insulting about others choices in life. Wait until VX takes over Alaskas terminal at LAX next year....Fishy should have a stroke over that one.

It will be nice to have some more space in LAX. But, WOW do we or the city needs to stick some money in that terminal. A crappy Burger King, starbucks, and an even worse seafood joint? Thats the best they can do. That along with the general feel of the place. Not a very good representation of our brand. In regards to Alaska, I'll be curious if they continue to pull down Mexico flying out of SFO as we add destinations and additional frequency in. I've done CUN three times this month and its been packed every day in and out.

Nice try...the real comparison is by longevity TODAY. There are no 3 year capts at neither Horizon nor Alaska so the comparison for TODAY actually works out like this:

VX 3 yr pilot - $115/hr
AS 3 yr pilot - $87/hr
QX 3 yr pilot - $40/hr

Unless you are advocating getting rid of the industry standard pay structure altogether or have a beef with upstarts in general and the fact they don't pay 12 year wages to first year pilots...both of which are entirely different issues.

How dare you confuse the issue with facts!

Back to the original topic. When is Vx going to start calling for the upcoming interviews and what kind of time is going to be competitive?

WOW! That's something to brag about. RJ wages for A320 flying. Well done.
