Holy He!! You mean the FMS computes climb, cruise, descent, and approach speeds at a constant Mach value? That's why my times are always off! Thanks! Those FMS designers are really dumb. I bet they even calculate the fuel and time for arrival fixes on a straight in approach you'll never fly over! Brilliant!

[QUOTE=cmesoar;1463579][QUOTE=CaptCoolHand;1463556]From the pvc today.

Based on pilot questions and feedback to the PVC, we see our pilots have a broad misunderstanding how different this year’s PEA process is from the procedures utilized in 2011. The PVC is neither a partner nor participant in the drafting of JetBlue’s PEA amendment. The PVC is a focus group in this process precisely as the pilots who attended the Flight Operations [PEA] focus group dinners. Unlike the PEA amendment of 2011, JetBlue is not seeking the endorsement from the PVC or a majority vote of acceptance from the Pilot Group on this year’s amendment./

So does this mean the PAR team will just email us our updated PEA?

Great! Ok well now that I am clear on that I have nothing to worry about!! I don't have to worry about signing anything so one less thing to do......... I hope u feel the sarcasm there. Unreal.
Just for clarification the PAR team won't send you the email. Sandy Sandoval will, along with a glowing explanation of how the process worked for us pilots, the DR truly does care and this time the language is the strongest in the industry...or until the next PAR/PST/PVC/PCG/PCRB process.

Other than that you are spot on.

I'm not really sure where you were trying to go with your post? In a nutshell the PVC is saying that collaboration is a myth. When this thing comes out it'll be take it or leave it.

Well, it looks we will have no say and neither will the PVC on any changes. The company will just implement them. I guess I am just sick of the emails. Time to just wait and see what is given to us...

Time to get your card in you mean? Personally I'm tired of all the committees and surveys that they put out for show and then disregard. Time to have some real input and negotiation in our careers.

Get your card in and get your friend to as well.

Believe the company ending attrition when you see it. It's been accounted for. Majority of haters here make up endless stats. Love it.

ALPA will not win the next drive. 80%+ of new hires (yes several hundred) have no interest and will join the same no voters from last time. Wasn't the claim during the last vote ALPA was "guaranteed" to crush it. I saw a lot of disbelief when that went down in flames.

3a will be a big disappointment. A majority lost their case when they signed later versions of the PEA. Could be a serious setback for your new boats.

The DR will live on. For better or worse.

Anyone looking at JetBlue for work due your homework. Don't be like the guys who came here and now feel terrible hurt. It's as advertised and the same issues have been here for years. It's a job. We were never overpaid so this shouldn't be a shock - but it continues to be. If you believe everything your employer tells you you have much bigger problems to deal with personally. Too many of these bums get here and to find no union. It's actually quite sad to see - their eyes go as big a saucers. I'm tired of dead mackerel eye look pacing our terminals. Get lost! Go to a real job of which you speak.

Wrong again on all accounts....

From an earlier post by RAPE222.....
"3A will fail if there is a god. Tissues are ready."

I'm going to name my boat Rake was Rong.

Rake are you Jabba or some LSC goon?
No matter what the financial payout may or may not be 3A was a victory for this pilot group. Arrogantly JetBlue thought they would win only to get smacked down by an arbitrator. Once again the puzzle palace has no clue what to do next.

Rake=Skinner... Or maybe Sandoval. Tell me oh wise one, which other destination carriers have line-holding Captains applying to Blue?

You guys are fun to rile up. Too easy. Here we go;

It will all end up somewhere in the middle. No side will get all they want. The politics can't be escaped. About 50% of any pilot group is not cool with what they have in a few big ways.

You won't rest until you have it all. It's just a simple lift from the company you say. The house will suffer some big probs someday due to some event - seems to be how history goes. You will be in shock once again. They won't allow bad things to happen because it's in our contract or PEA?

I'm Skinner or Sandy... Conspiracy always isn't it. I'm a line pilot boys. It always suprises you to consider that.

I assume you are ALPA in VA posing as a pilot?
