Wouldn't be the first time an airline able to make it just fine declared bankruptcy. Plenty have done it with cash in the bank. Just depends on which golfing buddy the bankruptcy judge turns out to be.

Just so you know I was talking about alvrb211's attitude.
We are all blue guys we should try to keep it civil at all times.
Attitude?

I keep hearing OUR guys rationalizing OUR healthcare by saying its similar to other people's.

Oddly enough, these "other people" they speak of are never MAJOR AIRLINE PILOTS.

Apologies to the dude if he intended to convey something else but it sounded like rationalization.

Question, I didn't listen the the Rooster conference call, but have heard 2nd hand that he was asked if we were getting 13 airplanes next year or not, and said we were getting 9, but it would "feel" like 13...

Is this true? If so, what I really want to know is WHY it would "feel" like 13.

Did he give any explanation as to WHY 9 airplanes would "feel" like 13?

Because the A321 won't be online till the very end of Q4 they will "feel" like they are coming in 2014. He was just trying to explain away the SCP comments to that regard.

So do I have it backwards? Are we taking 13, but it will feel like only 9 because the 321 won't be online till the end of the year? So we are takin 13, but will feel like 9?

Thank you. By most ways of measuring, we are a substandard AIRLINE, so you would be an idiot to expect anything other than substandard wages and benefits.
