I really hope you fly the bus because I would hate to fly with you if you always act like this. I didn't see him defend the change in the plan just talking about his wife's insurance.
Just a question do you go get a thorough First class medical or are you like every pilot and go get the easy one?

Easy one? Is there any other kind? After 18 years of first class medicals, if you're there for more than 20min it's more than thorough, its invasive. LOL

Speaking of movement at JetBlue, how frequently do new base assignments come out. Specificaally, if assigned E190 JFK, how long could one expect to be there before getting to BOS?

System bids come out quarterly. Next one is due out first week of sept. it hasn't been typical to,see lots of motion, but I'd expect to see a significant amount of movement this bid.

That was my point, he makes it seem like its an astronaut medical.

Yea, but you missed the point. The managers of the wold have a " medical" issue, and they miss a few weeks of work then head back to the trench and continue to bring home the bacon. Pilots may have an "issue" that has been resolved, yet cannot be cleared for a medical and unable to return to work.

While its not an astronauts medical exam, we tread a fine line of health in order to continue our profession.

I totally got it, just don't like the attitude.
What you said is why we need to work on medical, std and ltd.
