Who's been hired? [New Employer Can ID You!]

Nobody made you do that. You could have gone military too. Don't blame those that took another path or the company that hires them. To each his own. No need for yet another civ vs mil thread.

While you may think you can pop enough chaff in an interview so they don't notice that attitude, that's an automatic thumbs down if they get a sniff of that. Every airline, all day, every day. Maybe you're good enough to pull it off, but most aren't. Most interviews you'll be sitting across the table with well over half a century of experience looking specifically for that attitude.
I highly suggest that if you want to move on to a mainline…any mainline…or even most so called LCC's even, that you let go of that angst and focus on the optimistic sides of the opportunities ahead, for your sake. YMMV.

I do get the frustration though. The civilian pipeline is a tough road, and has been for quite some time because nobody has been hiring. That is all coming to an end though

Thats true. But getting to the interview for most regional pilots is extremely difficult. We are already doing the job with the paint on the side of the plane and carrying "majors" passengers. But then suddenly we arent good enough to actually fly the "majors" plane.
Ita a joke.
