I was in the double digits (15) at my airline....right as they went out of business!

Like I said LGA Pilot, assuming you are actually hired (which I doubt), 40 years is several lifetimes in airline years. To think things will be smooth sailing during that span shows your complete ignorance for this industry...

Congrats. That's awesome.

How far out from retiring did you apply?

bkC130, congratulations and well-done! That is what I call a stellar resume. I wouldn't be surprised if you get multiple offers from other places as well. Awesome!

My favorite part is the zero hours in 24 months as I am in a similar situation but starting to build my time back up....

Apps live about 12 months from avail date....which is another 2 months before official mil retirement due to terminal leave. Always said I'd take the Summer off in retirement transition year....but then youth sports fees and mortgages get in the way right?!

AA CJO
1675 TT, most of it alone and unafraid.
Mil IP time, CFI and CFII (though never used it, except on the application).
Went to commuinty college, then a state school, and grad school was a different state school.
Got lucky I guess and got into test pilot school, I guess they overlooked the community college thing. Happy and honored to have the job. Starting at the bottom and have a ton to learn and looking forward to it. How was that for on track and jabbing at the potential troll?

What does that mean? Does that make it better time of something?

Single seat, almost all pic time. I don't think I makes it better but some folks care about pic time.
