Attention Current JetBlue Pilots
#21
Ask a DL pilot how much profit sharing they got last year.. But hey, 0.48% last year was good enough for JB pilots right??
"Just happy to be here...!"
Don't worry, the blue juice will wear off after 2 years or so..

P-3 only reads what Jetblue sends out. In that respect this was the greatest quarter ever.('cause that's what Jetblue told him)
Listening to the conference call and reading other reports Jetblue missed it's estimate. 7% RASM gain YOY when they estimated more hurt the stock. 1.8 billion order book when the company is last in on time performance hurt the stock. Essentially bad management hurt the stock.
But...
Jetblue told P-3 this was the greatest quarter ever...
On the backs of the employees via healthcare, etc.
Some people are just happy to be here and for that this is the greatest job. That type of Jonestown thought process is un-defeatable.

Omg omg omg omgOmg! Jetblue is so amazing! I'd work here for free! I can live in the crew room! I'll buy my own hotels! I'll use obamacare! By the time I have to retire they'll have age 70! I won't need retirement because I'll likely die in T5 from a heart attack by 50!
Fill me up!
...it's a job man, get paid go home.

Benzoate, so why don't you tell us by how much it missed it's estimate? Wasn't it $0.22/share vs $.21/share? That falls pretty close to what analysts had expected which was in the neighborhood of $.18-.24/share. There are times to complain and say "see I told ya so" but I just don't see how this is one of those times. It was a decent quarter.

[QUOTE=sidestep;1509799]P-3, while JB's Q3 numbers were good, that company with '13,000' on the list made 1.37 Billion last quarter. Billion with a 'B'.
Ask a DL pilot how much profit sharing they got last year.. But hey, 0.48% last year was good enough for JB pilots right??

DL operates on a much larger scale, of course they'll have large gains as well as potentially large losses. Hey flashback to '08. DL loses a billion with a "B" and it's stock went up that day. Funny how things work sometimes huh. (Wasn't hard to find the article thanks to google).
Delta reports $1 billion quarterly loss

But the carrier's shares soared over 12 percent as the results, hit by unprecedented fuel costs and a decline in the company's market value, still beat Wall Street estimates when one-time items are excluded.

Use your google power to find when managements mistakes lead to furloughs and billions of dollars in lost wages and ruined lives. How much profit sharing was ERASED in CH11? Now delta is rainbows, smiles and unicorns. Just remember Unicorns have A horn.

Maybe you should go into management I am sure you would do so much better. I guess we should not be getting the 321s and just keep getting the mx heavy 190s? It seems to be a good move and yet you are not happy. You do have your app out right?
