I find it funny when the whole dem/repub crap is spewed, the fact is they are all holding a nasty little yard sale of everything you own.
We haven't had free markets here in about a hundred years, what you are seeing is the exact opposite of free markets.

Boeing and Emirates are not to blame, you might want to look at who is actually selling you, and it isn't Boeing or Emirates.
They have just entered a wide open market which consists mainly of your rights, they didn't start the market nor do they run it.

Someone is shocked the ME can buy a little influence? Where were you over the last two decades of US operations in the ME?
Who bought that and who sold it?

I agree that will not be written into the contract but I also believe the Sheik knew exactly what he was saying when he made that remark.

Exactly correct Denny.

Misses the point entirely. The point is that Airbus didn't promise access to European markets for purchasing their aircraft.

I couldn't read the rest of your 8,000 words because you clearly have no control of yourself. You might have even had something good in there, but few will want to wade into such self-indulgence.

There is no doubt our government has created a hostile environment for business. But that has nothing to do with why Boeing is the enemy of the US airline pilot.

The boys in Dubai aren't buying billions in wide bodies because their business climate is friendly...and it damn sure isn't because their populations justify it. They're buying them (mainly from Boeing) because Boeing has promised them access to our markets.

How would that fix the US airline disadvantage of competing against state-run airlines?

Prove that Carl. I think you are falling into conspiracy theory mode here.

So Carl, Boeing and Emirates are controlling the world?

Real heavy duty Kaiser broiler foil hat stuff.

Emirates has lots of Boeings, they have had them for a long time, they operate primarily outside the US.

What does control the market is a better product and I can say flying Boeing and Emirates is better than any US airline for comfort and service.

Maybe Emirates can do us all a favor and set up shop here, unfortunately our business climate would destroy their product.
