Buy a house in Peach tree city, there's about to be a wave of WB Capts retiring that won't be able to afford them in retirement/and or looking to downsize.

ATL 88 is where you want to be. It's more junior than the 717, does BHM layovers, and it pays more. And there are lots of openings on it.

People joke about Peach Tree City but if you have young children and want to spend the most time possible with them then its a fantastic option. They have great schools, very low crime, outstanding activities for kids of all ages and most important of all your kids can walk to school. Its a short drive to the airport and you avoid the Atlanta traffic which has to be seen to understand. Your wife will also have a great support network there if she needs help with anything well you are out flying.

I'm just going to quote that one, and let it hang there a while.

I knew that was coming when I posted it. Far worse however is letting your wife play tennis in north Atlanta. I am coming back as a tennis pro in my next life!

Looking for a good area with good schools

Thanks for the info
We live in South Forsyth county. We love it here. I have friends that live on the south side and much prefer it on the north side. We have some of the best schools in the state, low taxes, and extremely low crime. Feel free to PM me if interested.

You can have a PhD and see it and still not understand Atlanta traffic.
