Um, unless I'm reading it wrong, it appears to me that Flappy was saying DESPITE guys telling you that you were not good enough to fly for UPS, you are flying for UPS. As in: you proved them wrong. As in: a compliment to you. I am very tired now, so i could be mistaken....

No, I don't think so. Flappy goes out of his way to insult me every chance he gets. I think he's secretly in love with me but is mad because I don't want him.

You were defending me? Mmmmmmm. Is that so? Why the change of heart? No, noone tells me how lucky I am to be a woman flying for UPS. Noone says anything unless they are calling for a recommendation. I would hate to think they have the ba!!s to do this while talking smack behind my back but then again nothing surprises me anymore.

I thought this thread was about can you get hired at the majors with no turbine time. Anything is possible in this crazy business. However, keep in mind there are still thousands of furloughed pilots still on the street, and thousands of other major airline pilots that are flying (corporate, military, regional, etc) but still retain a seniority number at other airlines.
I'm not a big Air Inc. fan but they maintain stats on new hire Totals times, M/E time, Turbine PIC, age, and percentage with college degrees. etc.
