As people who have moved on will tell you, there is nothing about a regional that is a great place to work.

There are good things and bad things about EVERY regional. I only can scratch the surface on Xjet because I only deal with public facts: upgrade times, length of time from doh to interview at United through CPP, net loss of pilots (published in SKW’s quarterly report), loss of bases and flying. I can only hope the best for Xjet for the future.

And, while I want to make Mesa successful and grow, it won’t be the end of the world if it doesn’t. Flying jobs are plentiful, right now. I could always go to CommutAir and be at United in just over 2 years.

Another example of ignorance from breezywinds.

As I said, nothing is guaranteed in this business. We could have another 2001 or 2008 and pilots may be stuck in the regionals for 10 years. However, CommutAir has an actual pilot who has made the leap that quickly.

Coming from a Xjet FO recruiter.

I think I've told you I'm not a recruiter nor a FO. If I was I sure wouldn't hide the fact. The recruiters at XJT probably have the toughest job at our airline!

Only FO recruiters spend time on other regional forums trying to belittle that regional.

Well, here is my last post on Xjet’s forum. Basically asking a couple of questions.

“Tough for UA to buy a regional that flies for multiple carriers, isn’t it? When is LASA no longer going to fly for DAL?”

I believe the Fortune article has legs about UAL buying Xjet. Fortune’s newsroom has a good reputation for properly sourcing an article, meaning either Xjet, SGU, or UAL execs. That doesn’t mean they didn’t lie to Fortune. However, UAL is doing everything in its power to help XJet. 20 CRJ200’s and the reported award of the 25 E175SC’s (meaning someone else is losing 25 CRJ700’s) are concrete actions.

You've kind of left out your comments about how pathetic XJT is, how it will be out business in a few years, how it's CPP time will take forever.
