If we lose the CRJ700’s and/or the first 30 Ejets, the price will fall out of our stock price. There will be plenty of unhappy stock holders. The direction of things will be less predictable now that we are a public company.
I wouldn't worry about it, just do what you have to do, to move on up. |

Worst case scenario would open the door for ALPA preferential hiring at another ALPA carrier, most likely flying something bigger than an RJ.

We can’t seem to fly CAT II’s after 5 years of trying. CAT II’s is a contractual requirement in the United contract and our contract on the first 30 Ejets is up on June 1, 2019.

Until people start following the checklist and callouts, we will never get out of the demonstration phase. The FAA isn’t going to let us just keep using the 1600RVR. I’m surprised they’ve given us this long when the average is 6 months to remove the 1600 limitation.
Our latest attempt to fix the problem is just a bandaid. The FAA is simply letting us adjust our program. And, you are right, a properly designed CAT II procedure would be passed by the FAA in 6 months. And, the demonstration phase buys you 200 feet of visibility over CAT I. The FAA is pretty safe in letting us stay in the demonstration phase forever. It won’t surprise me we lose all or part of the first 30 Ejets over it. I have already diverted over the difference between 1400 and 1600. |

If it were that simple..... our callouts suck. Designed by someone who doesn’t fly the line. Try doing those callouts on a busy day and still effectively work the radio. Too much ******ing chatter in the callouts.
