Its still up in the air. We’ve been having issues with cancellations and delays lately and MX issues causing our on time performance to plummet. On the other hand we are incredibly cheap in comparison to other regionals. But AA is in such a difficult position with being so in debt and financially unstable I wouldn’t be surprised if they decided a regional needs to go and we’re the closest contract coming up to my knowledge. The only AA operators are the 3 WO’s, Skywest, Republic, and us. If we do lost that contract we’re in for a world of hurt.

That all makes sense. When exactly is the contract up?

AA doesn’t need Mesa anymore. Mesa needs AA. Should be interesting to see the play.

what about Mesa owning the gates at phx. How does that come into play for the AA?

Maybe MAG could buy out AA.

So does that mean that a set number of aircraft are taken out of service until the entire fleet is parked?

yes it does but I’d say the higher probability is either a renewal or a quick wind down with a penalty payment.

Renewal of some sort is likely. Based on Dec schedules.

What’s DEC looking like
