We didn't take concessions to secure OTHER people's flying. End of story.
I love how everyone says we have the WORST contract in the industry when in reality our contract is better than Republic, lakes and GoJets. All while our MEC is constantly making headway with management for a new and better contract for MAG pilots.
I don't see anyone in the RAH forums giving those guys crap for going to RAH with such a horrible contract including no cancellation pay.

You don't have to take concessions, you are the lowest along with RAH and GoJets. You guys are drooling over more airplanes to keep those quick upgrades going. More airplanes that come to you don't go to higher paying pilots. It is funny to see some of them try to put down PSA and PDT now even though your contract is still significantly worse.

PSA pilots took concessions to TAKE planes from another carrier.
It's plain as day, black and white.

PSA voted on the 12/4 LOA to prevent the new 900s from going to Mesa or RAH just like the last two rounds of new aircraft orders. I hope the 700s stay at Envoy but if they go somewhere I'd rather they go anywhere but Mesa, stop drooling over the 700s that aren't coming. Must be nice to live in a "black/white" reality in your head when almost nothing in this world is that simple. Haven't you worked at RAH and Mesa? Quite the resume.

You know what's sad is when the PSA guys spend all day defending their decisions in the Mesa, Gojet, RAH, Endeavor , Envoy, etc. forums. They feel better about themselves and their decisions. Going to the forums where all the "terrible" decision makers are and the ones that they assume have no future. They come in to these forums with grand assumptions that every pilot is beneath them, is brand new, chasing an upgrade, and could only dream of being one of them.
In pay comparisons every single one of you suck. In benefit comparisons you all squabble for scraps. What's pathetic is to think you come on to APC and gloat about your SAP swaps and your Christmas bonus style paychecks.
When you look at it plan as day, in a time when pilot groups were standing together. In a time when groups were saying enough is enough. You clearly swept the carpet right out from another and you did it in a vote!!! You voted for it!! Now you're taking their metal and parading around on a Mesa forum hoping to drum up some pilot's and supporters that you think are beneath you?
RAH and MESA on resume?
hardworking
underpaid,
humbled,
experienced,
advanced jet aircraft, ie. Ejet
challenged,
national, intn'l
etc.
(Attach stereotype here)
PSA resume ?
hardworking,
underpaid,
jet,
challenged,
regional,
(Attach stereotype here)
Once you attach a stereotype who do you think you'd hire?

If PSA is mentioned in another airline's thread and a PSA pilot feels that he has worthy input why wouldn't he respond?
This whole childish back and forth was started by YOU with this post:
Keep using PSA as the scapegoat for why the regionals suck, I guess it's about time those poor guys at GoJet get a break.

Also is this post now assuming that Mesa and RAH pilots are "better" pilots than PSA pilots? And in turn, are more deserving of a job? That is what you are inferring right? Immediately after you accused a pilot at PSA of thinking he is better than everyone else, you did the exact same thing.
You're a clown.

Apples-oranges. Mesa is in contract negotiations and has been for years.
Consider this. Let's talk about recent events. CPZ got gains in their contract. Expressjet AND Envoy turned down contracts as of late. The ball was in PSA's court. Pilots are finally back in the drivers seat when it comes to negotiations. PSA didn't turn down the offer. I think that's the biggest problem/issue everybody has. Does this sound about right or am I off base?

Unfortunately a wholly owned carrier is in a very different position from a stand alone regional carrier when it comes to negotiating. Comparing XJT, CPZ, and RAH votes to a PSA vote is well, to steal your term, apples to oranges.
Eagle's situation definitely more closely mirrors PSA's but they are also significantly larger, giving them more leverage with a no vote.
Everyone wanted PSA to vote no because "they can't shut you down, no one can staff your flying."
PSA had 49 acft at the time of our vote. We were told by "the industry" that there's no way AAG could shut us down anytime soon due to the pilot shortage. AAG is transferring 47 acft from Eagle to PSA in a little over a years time.
They absolutely could've shut us down, and would have.
The guys that voted yes mostly for our LOA were guys that have been around for years and had seen what Parker is, and how he operates. They decided he wasn't bluffing. It seems they were right.
