Given my source, I can say it's a fact, no longer a rumor. I would say who I got the info from, but as this is a public forum, I would hate to get that person in trouble- not that an exec can really get in trouble- who knows.

69 total EJETS will be on property is what I'm told.

Just remember, my source also told me about the first 30 back in Spring of 2013.

I hope the training dept has that street CA curriculum almost ready.....

Don't have a base.

I've heard everything from LA to DEN to EWR. But not from a reputable source.

I'm pretty sure most on here can run faster than a -200

Seriously, UAL is done with the 50 seaters as soon as possible, my guess is DAL will be too. Any contract for 200's would be short term, IMO.

My guess is that the first 30 embs stop in June, then the 7 CRJ's pick right up in July through September, which leaves the possible 40 embs (that's what I heard) to start in October. So, I would think we'd hear something by June or so...if it's really going to happen.

Oh lord, don't let the TSA, or Skywest folks hear you say that!

I'm trying to catch a flight from one UA hub to another to make a late afternoon connection. There are two flights I'm going to try, but are overbooked by -6 and have 10 people on the standby list.

Is it pretty common to have a UA mainline jumpseater going from one major hub to the other?

I was trying to JS a few weeks back and the gate agent said there was another UA mainline pilot in the JS...but it was a a320 with two jumpseats...she refused to believe there were two jumpseats and wouldn't help me. How can I avoid this tomorrow?

You can avoid this by not traveling so much during training. You are just asking for trouble.
