Are we really arguing about educational qualifications right now. Get real. More to life and a person than a expensive paper proving you can read a book and take a test. Your no better a person than the next guy. Any one know of dfw crash pads?

Hey FaceBiter--here is a recently-published Psychology research study, in which two University of Chicago psychologists had MBA students pitch themselves as job candidates via text, voice, and video. They found no statistically significant differences in the evaluations of job candidates between the voice and video experimental treatments.
"Adding visual cues to audio pitches did not alter evaluations of the candidates. For conveying one's intellect, it is important that one's voice, quite literally, be heard."
But I suppose you still know better than Mesa (and University of Chicago PhDs) when it comes to our hiring practices and phone interviews...because, you know, you're a gear monkey for Skywest.

Come on over, I'll let you sling gear for me anytime. Remember, I'll let you buy the beer while I talk about how much money I make.

And as I stated earlier, I completely agree with you--higher education has evolved into an archaic, baseless, essentially fraudulent enterprise that finances high-paying administrative salaries through slave labor by foreign graduate students and "no questions asked" Federal student loan money, saddled on the backs of naive rural and inner city youth.
It is absolutely insane that we live in a society where someone can borrow $100,000 at a ~4% interest rate with zero credit check--to get a BA, MA, and PhD in philosophy or Art History, but if you want to go do flight training--something that directly leads to a job--nooooooooooo, that's not allowed, because aviation didn't exist in ancient Rome, or when Oxford and Cambridge and the Sorbonne were churning out scholarly gentlemen in the Renaissance.
Sigh.
When are they announcing that we're getting the 18 additional EJets in April 2016?

Someone was arguing about that on here earlier. I'm simply defending myself and the plentiful ranks of Mesa pilots who do have college degrees from "real" schools, and those of us who have "real" graduate degrees/career experience.

I was hired by a phone interview. Prior 121 expirence before Mesa. And no I really don't think their is much difference. This company has treated me the best on a day to day basis. Their pilot group is top noch group of individuals. Less stuck up than some pilot groups. They are safe efficient, and don't ***** nearly as much. And if phone interview is how they get that then so be it. I dident have to waste money on hotels and spend a week memorizing atp questions that I had forget 2 years ago.

Just about as slow as the Mesa crosswind landing or taxiing into 757's thread.
