I'm interested to see how junior the next captain bid goes also. Last time it nearly touched an April 2013 hire. I wouldn't be surprised to see the next go to April, May, or even June of last year.
As for people worried about "new" pilots upgrading, it's been done before and now pilots have to have at least a 1000 121 time. That should make it a touch safer than in 2007 when there were many street captains flying jets around.

If that were the case, United, Delta, American, FedEx ect... Would resort to phone interviews, right??? Not even close. There are mannerisms, eye contact, body language ect... That a phone interview simply can't convey. If phone interviews were effective at producing a quality individual, all mainline HR would conduct them...

Everyone else senior to 2013 hires are holding out for either PHX CRJ CA or IAH E175 CA.
