Kind of funny how they are having issues when attrition is noticeable. How hard could it be to upload excel spreadsheet, hell I could do that in 3 mins.

Well they keep the seniority list pretty well up to date so I'm not sure it has anything to do with them trying to hide attrition.

Ok. Look at the "roster". There is at least three dozen people on "unknown return/dequal" on the list. Things that make you go "huummm".

Not sure how a list of pilots on long term LOAs is cause for suspicion. Most of the people on that list have been there for a while. As they come and go from LOA that list changes. When a pilot washes out of training or resigns, they remove him/her from the seniority list. It's not like they are putting resigning pilots on "long term LOA" just to make it look like there's less attrition.
My guess is that Standing Bids is swamped and understaffed, as most admin-type folks are at HQ, and updating rosters and standing bid lists on the pilot lounge is not as high on their priority list. Maybe they really are having IT issues with the Pilot Lounge. 50% of the links on the Pilot Lounge are from years ago and are broken. That website is definitely not high on the priority list for being maintained. I find either of those explanations a lot more plausible than some deceptive scheme to fool the pilots. Management thinks about pilots a lot less than we think they do.
Attrition is definitely up from a few months ago and they are having a harder time recruiting. No doubt about that, but I'm with the others who are saying "wait and see". No doubt challenges are ahead but it's not as desperate as some are making out, yet.

Was thinking about getting the sweater through mesa-uniforms. Is it comfortable and warm enough to wear through the winter without need of a jacket in Phoenix system?

I only wear the blazer for two, maybe three months out of the year in PHX. The sweater really isn't needed IMO, but keep in mind I'm also half polar bear

The movement some of these newbs are describing has been exactly the same since I started here. Is attrition up? When I came to Mesa I moved up a lot, fast. I still move up some every month and am in the top half. If attrition is up, someone post a number.
I'm getting the impression that Mesa's normal attrition is being used to support some mass exodus of FOs. Mesa started hiring again in the Summer of 2013. I've moved up almost 150 since I started and a good chunk of that was as a new FO.
