That guy is the WORST.
So the just of the new crew memo is.... "FOs stop trying to bypass the upgrade REQUIREMENTS". Your not gonna pull it off

That's hilarious.

I usually like to do a 30 minute take off briefing and spend the remaining 12 minutes confirming our route with a highlighter on the paper high enroute charts that I clip onto my trifold kneeboard.

Reckless!! Before I even ask the captain do the preflight because wing stop made my tum tum hurt, I spend most of my time doing radio checks on ALL the frequencies at DFW on my hand held radio

Oh I do all of my radio checks on my personal time. I like to volunteer my free time to Mesa by doing tasks like these. I figure it's the least I can do for such a generous company.

Lol this reminds me--I saw an FO running in the airport a month or so ago--I stopped him in his tracks and said "NO RUNNING--NO." He was like "but our inbound was late and I want to..." and again I said "NOPE--NO RUNNING."

Same thing with "helping" with valet bags, taxiing too fast to "help" people make their connections, etc.--someone should send a memo saying "if you are not trained or required to do something in the GOM/CFM/FARs, STOP DOING IT." All of these people "helping out" are exposing the company to liability and potential OJIs. If you flew profile/Econ Speeds and people still miss their connections and/or wait too long for valet bags, then our very profitable legacy partners should adjust the flight schedule or hire more rampers--stop going outside of your job description.

There were a few that slipped through the cracks. Why not try....
Running is ok to catch your flight home though.

Lol it's funny pilots will call pro standards on fellow pilots for stupid **** like playing music while boarding. But their balls go into their stomachs when it comes to fatigue calls relating to bad hotels.
