What makes you ignorantly assume I want to work for a US carrier? Realistically at my age I will never make it to a a legacy carrier anyway. I'm more than qualified, but I'm not "exactly" what US airlines are looking for and I'm OK with that. NAI will allow me to fly for a major international airline on new equipment.

Spot on, 1501 hrs of GA flying is more than qualified to captain an 121 jet airline. You should also make a point of mentioning your support of Flag of Convenience carriers in every crew room and Jumpseat you find yourself in.

What are you talking about "your age." They hire guys is their late 50s and sometimes 60s. The new equipment thing... sure it may take a while to fly a 787 or such so I get that.

^^^^^More evidence you're a troll and flamebaiter. ALPA and other pilot unions strongly defy NAI entrance to US routes.

Due to the current actions and attitudes of our pilot group, mainline jobs are out of reach for most of us, coupled with my age it's a long shot. I'm one to take a sure thing.

Jan & Feb are really bad months to use that data for anything concrete. There's a huge drop in flying at that point and every airline has tons of extra people sitting around. But it's by no means a measure of "how long to a line". I know guys who've had lines for 6 months that are on reserve in February because of the pull-down.

A much better representation of overall "line holding ability" would be in about April.

Having said that, on CA's are done so I don't have FO data anyway.

I understand ALPA's stance. But at the end of the day it's my career, not Alpa's. From my understanding, Alpa only cares about mainline pilots. Sometimes you gotta do what's best for you.
