Regarding the 75 hour sim or actual imc requirement, it states that it excludes simulator acquired sim imc time? The regs allow you to use 25 hours from an aatd like Redbird with an LOA. Will netjets not accept this time?
Also from my understanding netjets wants you to have a completed atp written prior to starting training. Does this mean that you are going to complete the atp ctp on your own dime including getting 25 hours multi time in the full motion before starting class with them? At which point they will simply get you through your ATP and Type ride?
Thanks in advance for any insight from someone who might know.
1. They specifically want it to be simulated or actual, NOT in a simulator, FTD, ATD, AATD, full motion level D etc...
2. I don't know the specifics on it, but I know there were at least 2-3 people in my INDOC who did not have an ATP of any kind, but at the end the flight safety people come in and make sure, depending on your situation, you have the required documents for your type ride/checkride (such as your CTP class certificate, deficient areas of written for oral, and then obviously your log books for an ATP applicant)

But with respect to the multi time requirement of 50 hours, do they follow the provisions of 61.159(a)(3)?
"50 hours of flight time in the class of airplane for the rating sought. A maximum of 25 hours of training in a full flight simulator representing the class of airplane for the rating sought may be credited toward the flight time requirement of this paragraph if the training was accomplished as part of an approved training course in parts 121, 135, 141, or 142 of this chapter. A flight"
Will they credit any full motion sim time to get to 50? Or is it 50 hours of burnt gas

Thank you, one more question and please plead the fifth if you aren't sure.

Would be a great question for the training department at the hiring expo!

A couple things to consider: You probably want some kind of background that lends itself to very condensed training program. I know the pass rate is good, but probably related to the interview/sim check weeding out a lot. I think someone who comes in at R-ATP, with 25hrs multi will really struggle. You’ll only see some stuff once in the sim. You won’t get a lot of time learning circling or flaps up landings. I know young pilots coming from 141 universities are doing well, and the company is excited to hire them. But, the training program isn’t really setup like regionals. It’s good overall, but you need to bring some experience, IMO
