I know a 1st year FO that made $140k without any extra bonus days (or maybe 1 or 2) at Flex.
I can’t say what the % is that make more. There is a recent post that a first year made over that on the 7/7. For transparency here are my numbers to date. I am in the phenom and don’t extend or chase fdp. I have worked 34 days this year so far. Year 4 7/7 Salary 19k , fdp flight 8k, after midnights 3k, other soft money 3k. The salary is the only thing that is constant. The rest can vary greatly between airframes. As far as what we are negotiating for I don’t have exact information or would i post that now. Hopefully it will raise the tide.

How much of FDP goes into 401k? Is it 50%?

The vast majority want to crank the salary only. The company and junior pilots would be at a disadvantage if FDP hourly went down and I don't think anyone wants that. We want a more even field for everyone since we have very little control over most of the non salary pay. I'm hoping we lower the FDP threshold (the point that it starts paying verses just accumulating) and make a minimum of an hour pay for every flight and a daily minimum for any mid tour travel. It wouldn't fix the problem altogether, but it would even it out a bit since pilots in the 350 will average close to 20 hours of FDP while flying close to 30 hours and pilots in the XLS may fly 10 hours in a tour with a bunch of broken airplanes and receive 0 in FDP pay.

Yes they really need to fix the discrepancy in FDP pay. Now it was a genius move to start FDP, I think it stopped a lot of minor writeups. But since you're not allowed to bid for your 1st jet they either need to allow that bidding or do some kind of adjustment for pilots that get the hanger queens. Back in the day I flew the Hawker 400XP. What a POS. But they got a good deal on them!! Nevermind the performance sucked and there was very little baggage space. They broke if you just looked at it the wrong way. Then the Phenom 300's came and after the early teething pains they did pretty well. With what the regionals are paying NetJets is going to have to raise the base pay along with the FDP adjustment. A neighbor of mine was a SIC for PSA. He got hired there with 1500 mostly from CFI work. This past June as he was approaching 1000 hours SIC time he got a interview with Delta and started with them in September. He managed to upgrade and finish IOE and get a few hours of PIC before leaving thou. NetJets is going to find it difficult to compete with this unless they change things. Just having home basing isn't going to compensate for what a legacy airline can offer.

FDP was not meant to bring salaries to competitive levels. It was to make the metal move farther and prevent fatigue calls, period.

Oh funny, seemed as though a year ago, nobody agreed with me. Now I'm captain obvious...

I guess since I'm captain obvious, I'll just point out that you guys did it to yourselves, and only management will fix it if they choose.

No it’s funny that you have been saying the same thing for over a year. Of course fdp was made to move metal. It wasn’t because the company was feeling charitable.

And fdp was voted in right before I got here. You know long after you left. Not sure why you are still hanging around here. Spare me the free internet thing. You can’t go more than a week with out taking little jabs at your old company and pilots. Hope it makes you feel better.
