Default Class drops?

Hi y’all,

I’m curious if anyone has the aircraft assignments for the last few classes. I go to indoc in the not too distant future so I’m curious what others have been getting.

Thanks!

Keep your powder dry. The way things are going, there's a better than average chance under the modified contract that some new hires will get the Challenger 605 or Global 5000/6000. Poor bastages...

Recent months have had assignments to every eligible fleet (all light to super-mid cabins). As GeeWizDriver said, I expect we will see new hires in the 650/Globals in the future once FO bids under the new system dry up.

I think there is a very small chance a new hire would get assigned the large cabin. If they are gonna waive locks, I’d guess that a large portion of the recently hired would bid it. Other than a few more weeks in CMH, not much inconvenience. Realistically, the majority of people have considered the fact they will be in airline training for three months at a 121… Another 3 to 4 week course in Ohio after your first 3 week course really isn’t gonna put anyone out too hard. I don’t think.

Default Not a lotta Phenoms

Last Indoc class (April 15th hires) got the following:
  • 10 people on the Challenger 350
  • 9 people on the Latitude
  • 3 on the Longitude
  • 3 on the XLS
  • 2 on the Phenom

Almost everyone except the youngest folks in the class got one of their top 3 preferences.

We shall see. The new contract gives a 24 month lock out for upgrades in any fleet and the last captain drops went down to something like 14 months. It is also 4+ straight weeks away from home. I'm sure the company is hoping to assign newhires these slots to avoid the training churn and wasting 100K+ types like they have been doing for the last year+. I'm sure some junior pilots will take the bait, but I'm guessing we will actually see some newhires sprinkled in.
