It varies. Some days we get home a day early or stay home a day later.

Wow! Seriously!?! We get asked to come in a day early or if we want to work a day later (for extra $ and not forced to) but never in a million years that.

Just depends what the schedule is doing and if they need you and what's around.

I'd you stay home, you get paid. If you stay out later or past 12 hours, you get OT or an extra 1.5 days plus your day of pay... Unless it's involuntary then it's more.

That's not bad at all. It really doesn't sound like a bad place o work minus the movement for upgrading.

On day 1 if you start before 8am, it's OT, as is anytime over 9 hrs of duty that day. So if you start at 6am and duty off at 5pm, it's 4 hrs of OT (2+2). It's rare for me to start before 8am on day 1.

And others get tons of OT because of their base/airline options/fleet demand.

What airplanes are they planning to keep on line?

That's always a moving target around here. NJA is trying diligently to reduce the number of different types that we have. Most of this is my opinion. I am sure that someone else may have better information.

The Phenom 300 will be around for a while. My opinion is that they are unhappy with the airplane, and would love another option in the light jet category, but changing at this point would further complicate their fleet renewal goals.

The Latitude is shaping up to be the core of the fleet. They are talking huge numbers. It will basically be the replacement for the XL fleet.

The Sovereign will be around for a while longer. It is time to get rid of them, but they are still a workhorse.

The Challenger 350 is proving to be a workhorse also with great reliability.

I really have not paid much attention to the large cabin airplanes to know what the plan is. For right now, I see the Gulfstreams, and Globals sticking around. I don't know about the Falcons and Challenger 650's.

Just curious: Why do you think NJA are not happy with the Phenoms?
